By car, Marina del Rey is accessible from all major area freeways. Marina Freeway (90) West directly connects with the San Diego Freeway (405), the major north-south route through Los Angeles. For in-transient travelers, the community offers a refreshing break from the airport, and is a quick 10-minute ride from LAX by shuttle, taxi or public bus.
